Can I get Section 8 housing?

You must apply with the Tampa Housing Authority to get Section 8 benefits. There is usually a long waitlist. You can apply for the waitlist online, but there are times when the waitlist is closed because it is so full.

There are different eligibility requirements including income levels, age, rental/credit history, and criminal history.
