Bay Area Legal Celebrates Two Special Awards at 2022 Florida Bar Convention
The Community Law Program and Bay Area Legal Services’ St. Petersburg Office were recognized with The Florida Bar Foundation’s 2022 Goldstein-Van Nortwick Award for Excellence for the Pinellas County Eviction Diversion Program. This award recognizes projects that have a systemic impact on a vulnerable population and that involve collaboration. Lisa Brody (Assistant Deputy Director and Managing Attorney of our St. Petersburg Team) attended to accept the award.
Dick Woltmann (CEO / President) received the 2022 Jane Elizabeth Curran Distinguished Service Award at The Florida Bar Foundation Awards Ceremony of the Annual Florida Bar Convention. Dick was selected for this honor as a result of his decade’s long career as an advocate, effectuating positive and lasting change for communities and underserved individuals in Florida and across the nation.
