Findings & Focus Opportunities

  • Economic insecurity is an acute stressor in client communities. Bankruptcies and consumer debt problems are on the rise
  • Legal aid must pursue housing advocacy in ways that achieve the largest client impact
  • Legal aid remains a vital source for seniors
  • We should continue our collaborative advocacy on domestic abuse & family law issues
  • We should continue our strong community outreach and partnerships, public education initiatives, and using our Volunteer Lawyers Program to benefit people and families in the Tampa Bay area
