Hillsborough County Public Schools Summer Food Program (Summer 2022)
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) is giving out FREE food for children ages 18 and younger all summer long.
You can typically pick up food from 7:30 a.m.-9 a.m. and 12 p.m.-1 p.m. from June 6, 2022 to July 28, 2022, from various locations throughout Hillsborough County and the greater Tampa Bay area.
The Hillsborough County Summer Meals program is provided by Summer BreakSpot
Summer BreakSpot offers breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners at various locations throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Are there any requirements?
At almost all locations, there is no application and any child 18 or younger can get food during meal times.
Is it really free?
Yes, there is no cost for meals. The USDA requires all meals be given at no charge.
What food is available?
Nutritionally balanced meals are provided.
- Breakfast includes 1 serving of milk, fruits or vegetables, and grains.
- Lunch/Dinner includes 1 serving of milk, grains, protein, and 2 servings of fruits or vegetables
- Snacks include 2 of the following: 1 serving of milk, fruits or vegetables, grains, and protein.
