Training Sessions

Attorney Taylor Sartor offers FosterPower training sessions on the rights of teens living in foster care.

Taylor conducts FosterPower "Know Your Rights" training sessions for youth in foster care, members of the child welfare community, and any other groups that request training.

The training includes a description of the rights teens' have in five key areas:

  • Placement Rights
  • Medical Rights
  • Mental Health Rights
  • Rights for LGBTQ Youth
  • Money Rights

Taylor also conducts "Train the Trainer" sessions, where she trains groups that go on to train others in their community on teens' rights in foster care. Each participant gets a copy of the "Know Your Rights" guide after the session.

If you're interested in training, contact Taylor Sartor: tgreenberg@bals.org.
