We provide legal services to local small businesses and nonprofit charities that are low- to moderate-income and serve in-need communities. 

Our transactional business law services connect eligible clients with the expertise of staff and pro bono attorneys to help grow and sustain their small business or nonprofit.

Our services do not include litigation matters. 

Let's Get Down to Business Law

Join us for a free business law information session designed for small businesses and nonprofits.

During this interactive session, attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Learn key legal considerations for starting and operating a business or nonprofit
• Understand compliance and business licensing requirements
• Identify potential legal risks and ways to help protect their business
• Ask general business law questions during a live Q&A session

Following the group discussion, attendees may have an opportunity to meet individually with an attorney for up to 15 minutes, as time allows through noon.

News and Updates for Nonprofits:

The annual filing due date for certain returns filed by tax-exempt organizations is the 15th day of the 5th month after the organization’s accounting period ends. Those operating on a calendar year basis must file a return by May 15. Use Form 8868, Application for Extension of Time To File an Exempt Organization Return or Excise Taxes Related to Employee Benefit Plans, to request an automatic extension of time to file.
