Attorneys, social workers, and support staff at the L. David Shear Children’s Law Center of Bay Area Legal Services represent child victims of abuse and neglect ages 0 to 5, including older siblings; and children with special needs of all ages in the Hillsborough County dependency system. The Children's Law Center accepts Hillsborough County dependency court referrals from child welfare stakeholders (dependency attorney, case management, guardian ad litem, relative, non-relative, foster parent, etc.). For more information, please see Referrals to the Children's Law Center.
