HQEEDY Selected to Receive the 2022 Florida’s Children First “Advocates for Children Award”

Attorney Jennifer Robinson has been selected to represent the High Quality Early Education for Dependent Youth collaborative (HQEEDY) in accepting the 2022 Florida’s Children First “Advocates for Children Award.”

Founded in 2013, HQEEDY is a community collaborative founded and chaired by the Children’s Law Center, consisting of stakeholders across both the child welfare and early education systems. This collaborative works to bridge the gap between the dependency system and the school system, ensuring high-quality early education for all zero-to-five-year-old dependent youth.

Designated from a group of worthy nominees, HQEEDY will be “celebrated for their unique role in improving outcomes for youth in the dependency system” in an award ceremony taking place on November 17th. Florida’s Children First (FCF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to child advocacy, whose work mainly relates to children in the child-welfare system. FCF will also honor two youth advocates and present an award for Outstanding Foster and Adoptive Parents. Congratulations to Jennifer and the HQEEDY team for their incredible, continuous work improving the lives of at-risk children.
