Bay Area Legal Attorney for Youth in Foster Care Featured on Pioneers and Pathfinders Podcast

Taylor Sartor, L. David Shear Children's Law Center senior attorney and FosterPower creator and legal director, sat down with Stephen Poor on the Pioneers and Pathfinders podcast to discuss the range of issues youth in foster care must contend with, how FosterPower earns trust from its users, where her passion for youth in foster care comes from, and her experience as an Equal Justice Works fellow.

Being in foster care can be extremely isolated, and kids can just not think that anybody knows what they're going through. And there's not a lot out there from what we've seen on social media, just in general, where they can feel like they're not alone. Foster care is a very disenfranchised community. So, being able to see people who have been through what you've been through and talk about their experiences can help them not feel so isolated.
