Am I eligible for TCA (Temporary Cash Assistance) benefits for my kids?

The TCA (Temporary Cash Assistance) Program – also known as TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) – provides financial assistance to eligible families with children and to pregnant women in their ninth month of pregnancy. If you are pregnant and unable to work in your third trimester, you might qualify.

The amount of cash depends upon family size and income, but an example is that an eligible family of three will receive $303 a month. If you are a work-eligible TCA participant, you must register to work or participate in a work-related activity.

The Temporary Cash Assistance Program offers support services to help families find work.
