What is a mobile home park "prospectus"? Is it important?

A prospectus is required by the Florida Statutes for mobile home parks that have 26 or more lots. It provides protections for you and may include rules and regulations of the park.

The prospectus should be provided to you before you sign your lease. Please save it for reference while you live in the mobile home park. (It is also on file with the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.)
