Here are some inspirational ideas for your workplace fundraiser!

• Denim Day
• Flannel Day
• Flashback Day (wear retro/vintage attire from a different decade)
• Sports Day (rep the jersey or any other type of attire from your favorite professional sports team)
• Twin Day (choose someone in the office to match with)
• College Day (rep attire from your college/ university)
• Wacky Tacky Day (dress like you got ready in the dark)

Each workplace’s culture is unique. So feel free to create your own theme that works for you. This is meant to be a fun way for you and your colleagues to have an impact on our community.

Let’s get creative! Dress Down for Justice provides each workplace an opportunity to encourage their peers to participate in a different way. Some ideas that your workplace might consider include:

Matching Funds

• Partial Match: e.g.) The organization will match up to $10 of each employee’s gift.
• Unlock Goal: e.g.) If employees collectively raise $1,000, the organization will donate $500.
• Dollar-for-Dollar: The organization can have a dollar-for-dollar match. For every dollar raised, the workplace will match.

Challenge

You can initiate a challenge internally and externally during the Dress Down for Justice drive. Challenge options can include:

• Internal: Have a challenge among teams/departments within the organization
• External: Challenge another workplace/ organization to participate. If the challenge is accepted, offer up a friendly competition of which workplace can raise the most or how many employees will join the cause.

Event

Some workplaces have chosen to host an event surrounding the fundraising drive. The event can bring awareness and rally participation before the drive ends.
