Are You Safe
Are you Safe is a nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic violence. It provides free and confidential legal assistance, such as help obtaining restraining orders/injunctions and provides counseling for victims of domestic violence. The organization additionally offers free domestic violence educational seminars to local businesses, schools, religious organizations, and professions in an effort to stop domestic violence before it starts.

Family Law Clerk’s Office
File papers requesting a civil injunction for protection against domestic violence, repeat violence, sexual violence, dating violence or stalking.

Victim Assistance, State Attorney’s Office
The program provides comprehensive services to victims of violent crime, including information about the criminal justice system, notification of court hearings, and escort to courtroom and deposition hearings. There is no charge for these services. The Domestic Violence Program provides comprehensive services as listed above to victims of domestic violence, as well as assistance with Injunctions for Protection.
