How do I stop harassing calls from creditors?
Get the name and address of the creditor from the caller. Tell the caller not to contact you anymore. Tell them you are sending a “no contact letter” to their office.
Send a letter to your creditor telling them you do not want them to contact you any further about the debt. Send the letter via certified mail, requiring a receipt from the creditor.
Make a copy of everything you send. Keep track of when the creditor received your letter (with the certified mail receipt). If they call again after you have proof they received your letter, tell the caller that you are keeping track of each time they call – in violation of your legal rights.

NOTE: Stopping the calls will not impact your debt.
